I’m looking for it to be more simple colors, like a plain white blanket and army green cot/pillow, or an off-white canvas cot with wooden supports instead of metal. Any leads?

Would something like this be okay? That’s a ModPod blanket and a sample from the Mission light-wood. I’m not great at recolors, and my keyboard is really wacky today, but I could upload my psd with wood substitutions for someone else to go nuts on?
I tried the police cot blankets, but they’re mapped differently; the Mission and ModPod blankets worked better if you want it maxis match but they have patterns. [grr stupid keyboard keeps skipping letters]
After that Colby relaxed quite a bit, to the point where he started in with the funny stories from work, and impressions of coworkers that usually got eye-rolls from the family at home. This was a whole new audience that had yet to hear his favorite anecdotes endlessly repeated!
[In the top picture, Emerson has to pee, but I can’t help but think he’s sitting there saying to himself “what monster have I just awakened!?” LMAO.]
Rosetta: “So dad, what do you think? Not the bunch of creepers you said they were?”
Colby shrugged. “Eh, I suppose I could have jumped to conclusions about that boy… and he comes from a good family at least…”
Rosie: “Dad if you’re not going to sing with everyone then let someone else sit down.” -__-

Emerson sighs and makes his wish. Jefani sits down to help cut the cake and share it around. She also kicks him under the table gives him a nudge in the right direction.
Emerson clears his throat. “Mr. Jack, I think I understand why you don’t like me, and I’d like to apologize. I made a mistake asking Rosie to move in with me the other day, it was a… it was stupid, and I’m sorry.” He smiles at Rosie and takes her hand. “I care about your daughter, a lot, and I should have come over and gotten to know you all the first second I realized that.” She beamed as he turned back to her father. “I was just thinking about how many things were about to change, and I didn’t want her place in my life to be one of them.”
Marietta had to work Friday evening, so Rosie brought her father and her grandmother to Emerson’s house for a quiet celebration. Colby starts the evening off grumpily side-eyeing everyone, especially Rosie at the counter, and Emerson whenever he passes too close by her.
Yuki seems okay at first, but then finds a reason to hide for a few minutes. [Yuki sweetie, that’s the bedroom, the bathroom is on the left.]
But everyone else is having a great time, mingling, Getting to Know one another. There was even a round or two of charades at one point.
Holy shit did you guys know that there was a drive-in set near the Oasis Springs airport set? Aw man now I have to recreate it for actual use!
UGGHHH EA, please just open these up as usable lots at some point. I love Oasis Springs, and would really like to see it expanded upon; both Magnolia Promenade and Newcrest are based on Willow Creek, and I suspect that no more Strangetown/O.S. inspired neighborhoods will be added later.
In just the Parched Prospect district there are 9 residential lots that can be easily accessed by road, and 4-5 public lots depending on whether the casino should remain a piece of decor. If the neighborhoods can be patch-expanded to allow us access to these place-holders, that would be amazing.
Not much to add in here, moved a few of Derek’s paintings into his room, added a few more books to the bookcase for Jefani, and gave her a motivational poster over her writing corner.
Edit: Aaaand apparently it’s a mouse! I don’t know why I thought it was a lemming… It’s right there in the name too.
Also, why “Unlocked at Level 8 of the Athlete Career”? Wouldn’t this be better suited to the Tech career? =/
A day before his birthday I hop in to check on them, and realize that I really need to update the interior of their house. Nothing drastic, mostly some paint and new rugs, but it freshens up the place nicely. =D
