ok we’re settling this discourse right now

sclera:

put ur zodiac sign in the tags & if you like or dislike:

– pineapple on pizza
– mint ice cream / mint chocolate
– ketchup in mac n’ cheese
– fries dipped in ice cream

No to pineapple on pizza.

Yes to mint and chocolate, separate or together they are great.

No ketchup on anything ever!

And YES, everyone should try dipping their fries in ice cream or a milkshake at least once!

– I honest to god don’t understand why, but I have this obsession with Casper Van Dien movies.  I’m slowly trying to find all of them; I can only watch each one once, and I have to take breaks in between watching them or my brain starts to melt, but I luvs them.   (•◡•) /

I thought after I got some sleep and started a new day that I would feel better but I don’t. I’m still pretty cranky.

While I was working on Kids Room SLM reclours (which I had planned to do when it came out) I recieved some pretty negative comments on YouTube about Episode 4 of SLM. I deleted them on the advice of someone who is often much more rational than I am.

Not only was I told my work isn’t “good enough” (translated: “professional” and “meeting a certain standard of quality”) but I was told, in so many words that my voice actors suck and have no idea what they are doing

(some of them are even professional voice actors that do this kind of thing to stay in practice and try new things, one of them is even a professional actor friend of mine)

. I was also told I should bother. So glad to know that my hobby, and the other hobby of others (the voice actors involved), isn’t good enough for some people.

In a couple days I am sure I will be over this, but in the mean time I don’t feel like working on the series. I really don’t feel like sharing it anymore. In fact, I don’t feel like sharing anything at the moment (and I originally planned on sharing the new SLM bedroom items). I mean, why should I bother when people are openly critical and are, in no uncertain terms tell me what I am doing sucks.

Is it really necessary to tell someone that you don’t like what they do? Is it so hard to move on with your life after seeing something you don’t like, that someone obviously spent a lot of time on, without telling them that they suck and shouldn’t bother?

I have to wonder if people that do that are rather unhappy with their lives, themselves, the world, whatever, and just want to use someone as a verbal punching bag and/or shit on someone else’s enjoyment of something.

Whatever the case is, it really does a lot to throw a damper on a persons will to make things let alone share them with the community. It kills creativity. It kills motivation. Before anyone asks, no, it hasn’t just been one person doing this. All I have gotten from this last episode is a butt ton of negativity.

I’m pretty much back in that place I was at when I was pretty much told just to run SimsFilmFest and promote other peoples stuff and not make machinima myself.

So yea, thanks for that.

Dear @Jorgha-Haq,

Being bullied for most of my elementary school life has taught me a few things, things that as an adult the internet has only confirmed.  The people who cut you down are, more often than not, broken themselves.  They find things about you to pick apart, things that everyone else overlooks because they know no one is perfect.  These jerks see a normal flaw as an entry point, a way to worm in to your core and break you at your weakest point.  Just because they can, not because there’s really anything wrong with you.  It’s because they’re twisted and put together wrong compared to the rest of us, and hurting people is a game to them.

Super Llama Man isn’t perfect, and it doesn’t have to be.  It’s fun, and it’s something you put your heart into.  We can tell, and we’re grateful that you have shared him with us.

I wish I could tell you how much I want to give you a hug, and beat these people with a brick at the same time, how much fun your project has been so far, and if you want to stop it’s okay, but don’t do it because people are pricks, and more things than that, but for some reason i just don’t know how to say it better.

Please don’t let horrible people make you feel bad about yourself or what you love.  ;_;

.

[I don’t know how to set up a reply post like you do, oh well.  Anyway.]

I know his password, but I’d have to turn his computer on / off and hope I don’t set off the updates that have been requesting to load, and I’d rather throw him off entirely by waiting.

When he gets home he’ll turn it on himself, because he and Evie are supposed to play Minecraft together, and everything will appear as expected.  Then he’ll powder his nose  read ifunny  leave the room for 10 minutes.  I may do it then and when he sits back down it’ll be bright and fresh and hi def.  (¬‿¬)

So the tortie you’ve seen before is my extremely attached 4yo lap-kitty (nicknamed Mrs Biggleworth).  The tabby here is a recent arrival.

He’s a 7yo bathroom gollum named Buddy, who likes to hide behind the toilet most of the time and get upset when it flushes.  A co-worker could no longer keep him, so we have a new cat, lol.  It’s been over a week now (?) and he’s finally settling in and looking less tense.  o/
