THE BEFORE AND AFTER TAG

No one tagged me, this just sounded fun!

Here is Pepper Jack, the first/oldest sim in my library, and one of the founders of Sims County.  Her makeover was mostly cosmetic; I only reshaped her nose and hips a teeny bit.  Oh and I made her breasts hang more like a normal human (lol)!

Her clothing and makeup are now set for the beautiful spring weather, and I gave the poor girl some much-needed eyelashes.

(Wow, taking that hat off really brightens up her face!)

Hint of Summer

– Me: That’s what we said!  Ugh, it was a sad reminder of what’s coming.  California in the summer is supposedly so much fun, if you’re willing to cram yourself in at the overly full beaches and get sunburnt to hell, or you have a bunch of money for a home pool (and maintenance!).  Otherwise when it hits 110*F outside in midsummer you’re stuck with a window-shaker AC, spritzing the kids with a spray bottle with ice in it,

and

hosing the dog down outside once in a while so that he doesn’t spontaneously combust, hoping your house isn’t near any wildfires…

– I don’t suppose you can package that up and send it to me?  Waterproof container would be best, I can re-freeze it when it arrives 😀 ?

Engraving Birth Certificates and Ghostless Gravestones

How difficult would it be to add the “engrave Epitaph” coding (or something similar) from the urns to things like the Birth Certificates and say, a blank, buyable tombstone.  Just for decoration; something that you could mouse over and read a name, and pretend that you have a full cemetery… until you get the chance to fill it properly of course ;D

But if someone could explain that to me, I’d love to add the ability to personalize my Certificates etc…

So I’m in a small side save, running on Normal aging, trying a quick playthrough of something, when my newest YA moves her boyfriend in and I finally get to see his ancestry.  I knew the man his mom was married to was not his dad, but I didn’t know who was.

Apparently, Max Villareal got around to quite a few ladies…  Perry (the last boy, the brunette twin brother) has a much larger sibling pool than I expected!

The last four of those six were my kid’s friends, and I didn’t know they were brothers and sisters, LOL!

Once Joaquin left for work, and baby Elise was fed and tucked in for a nap Miera tiptoed outside to finish her latest piece, a Realism painting nicknamed Cars, Fact Or Fiction?  When she called the appraiser to have it priced it turned out to be a Masterpiece worth over $3000 simoleons!

That plus her previous savings of over $3000 surpasses the $5000 mark!

CHALLENGE COMPLETE!

[With eleven days until Elder status!  I gave her a personal deadline of the Elder birthday to accomplish all goals.]

Grand Total: $14,228

Most Recent Bills: $320

Cash Left Over: $6,279

That was fun– I might try it again at some point… with harsher rules and the Ingredients Required mod from the beginning, because I’m Evil.  ;D

I may play her a bit more, to move Joaquin in and get Elise to the toddler stage.  [I may also use teen/YA Elise for a different challenge.]

Her water finally broke while she was at the store; Joaquin couldn’t get there right away, so a friend offered to drive her home to pick up her overnight bag and then drop her off at the hospital.

She had a little girl, named Elise in honor of their shared love of classic piano music.

Joaquin missed the labor, but he stayed overnight in the hospital with them, and was there to take them home in the morning.
