Very Basic Blender Instructions for S4Studio Meshing
So, I was asked for some basic information about navigating around Blender when meshing for S4.
Since it took quite some time to come up with this I’ve decided to put this up here as well. Maybe someone else will find it useful.
I’m rather slapdash when dealing with programs and do a lot of learning-by-doing, so my knowledge it not very organised. I do not claim this is the definite way of doing things, this is what I do when I use Blender, and it gets me around.
For future reference when I get brave enough to try opening blender again.

Servo – Complete Conversion by Qahne (MTS)
You may have seen this floating around on the forums here a few months ago; I started this project way back when in May (and teased it in one of the screenshots here), but computer issues kept me from finishing it off. Now, at last, my Christmas gift to you:

Do you use the MC Command Center? I’ve been thinking about downloading it, but I want to hear other people’s opinions about it first

It’s wonderful! The No Population Culling/No Relationship Culling alone makes it worth trying, but it appears overwhelming when you first download it. If you’re really interested but don’t want a bunch of things affected, download the All Modules set, save most of it somewhere, and only put the core pieces (and the population addon) in first. Click on a computer in game to get a feel for the options, and if you don’t like them, it doesn’t hurt your files if you just delete it. I haven’t taken advantage of every option it offers, but it has allowed me to control things that I really wanted a choice in.

MAGGIE HAIR
A simple YF to CF hair conversion; I wanted this style for my daughter’s simself, but couldn’t find it for kids anywhere. Turns out conversions aren’t hard, just annoying and time consuming!
Since this is a base game hair it requires no packs to use, and it comes in all 18 adult colors.
It is hat compatible, but the back clips a little bit with the strongly angled hats, and the shoulders clip with the ends a bit. Feel free to edit this further if those small mistakes bother you more than they bother me [and please let me know, in case I prefer your version 😉 ].
If you want to recolor it, go ahead and include the mesh, twist it, burn it, disintegrate it with your Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator, whatever makes you happy! =D
