Anyone have a good pun-like name for my new Aliens Club?
Besides the aliens-only and teen-and-up limitations, the rules are pretty generic: enjoy your time on the planet, and use your alien powers freely!
I’m thinking of it as a foreign-exchange student kind of thing, where aliens visit us, and we visit Sixam, and learn about each other’s ways.
But I can’t think of a good name…

Rosie: “Oof. Okay, who’s ready to watch Simder with me?”
Marietta: “You know instead of watching romances, you two should try to be romantic yourselves more often, it can induce labor.”
Rosetta: “Can we just watch the movie without anything embarrassing coming up?”
Marietta: “Well that depends on how graphic this movie is, right Emerson?”
[Emerson wishes he could be doing anything else right now.]

They have to support it. It’s not on the books, but Win XP still gets updates if you have the right version. xD

Oh wow! For the moment he has the upgrade prompt locked down so it doesn’t even suggest itself anymore, but if it comes to it, I’ve considered switching to a different OS entirely. I really liked XP though, so I’ll try to remember that if it comes up!
So Marietta came by at the end of trimester 3, to rub Rosetta’s belly and make lucky-buddha jokes (not as well taken as her usual jokes).
When Rosie inevitably had to go pee, Marietta asked Emerson how he was handling fatherhood.
Emerson lit up. “I love it so far! Last night Rosie couldn’t sleep, so she sat up and read for a bit in bed. Well I rolled over to hug her, and the little guy kicked me in the face! She showed me where his feet were, and every time I poked them, he’d kick back, it was great!” He couldn’t stop grinning.

Yeah, among other reasons that’s why I refuse to upgrade past W7. You can try to pry my TS2 from my cold dead hands, but then you’ll find that they are actually hidden inside me, like the stones from Fifth Element. You can’t have them!
My husband promised me that if I ever had to upgrade to an OS that could not play TS2, he would build me the best goddamn dinosaur computer within his power and keep whatever retired OS that worked best with it up and running for me. I love that man. ♥‿♥
Maybe they just really like The Sims?
