All three kids came home from school today needing something fun to do, badly.  Since it was such a lovely hot day, they went for a swim to refresh their energy.  (They’re going to need it because Violet, Stella, and Selene all came home with school projects to complete!)  Corbin did his best to help the twins finish their written work quickly while Violet went inside to watch some TV, then everyone collected in the living room to assess the damage.

Stella had a medieval diorama to build, and because history was not her strong point she asked Violet to help her get it started.

Selene was learning about chemical reactions, and had to figure out how to make a clay volcano erupt.  (Corbin decided it was best to keep a close eye on that project.)

Violet’s class was working through an electricity unit, so after her mom took over guiding Stella through the architecture lesson, Violet got to work on her own experiments.

Poor Clingy Sirius, I’d say he’s feeling abandoned, but he seems fairly absorbed by that llamacorn painting app, so good for him!

Finally, we get to our heir of this generation: the Corbin Dallas* DeLion household!

As you can see, our baby boy Sirius recently aged up from slimy larva to adorable toddler!  (Just in time for the family pack ;D )

After a touch up, all the kids decided to wear their disguises for now (because so far I haven’t gotten much chance to see their dad’s side of the genetics).

Corbin makes beautiful babies!  XD

*Fun side note: He’s named after the male hero of the movie “The Fifth Element,” because his mom is a Geek.  His sister Danae is named after a mythological Greek princess, and their brother Emerson is named after Amelia Peabody’s husband from their Egyptology series.)

Rosetta’s sister Mona Rae liked to come over and visit Rosie and Daniel after school as often as she could, but now that she’s graduated high school and has a week to go before her young adult birthday, she stands to inherit the house from their aging parents Colby and Marietta.  That means a job.  And responsibility.  Those are not her strong points…

On the other hand, it also means that she can renovate the house in whatever way she wants…  (¬‿¬)

In the senior DeLion household, Danae’s parents Derek and Jefani live with her brother Emerson, his wife Rosetta, and their son Daniel.

Derek is a painter who doesn’t care for abstract art, Jefani is an established fantasy writer, and Emerson is a journalist who loves studying the history of Oasis Springs.  Rosetta is a stay-at-home mom (at least until Daniel starts high school) considering a career in social media.

But while Emmett is an overall sweetheart with a lazy streak, Daphne has been growing

restless  and somewhat distant.

When she is not out at the cafe and spa with her friends, she is primping and practicing pick up lines in the mirror.  She was recently caught sneaking out at night to be with her newest boyfriend Max, and has had her curfew and social life severely curtailed.

Next we have Penny’s parents Kam and Tem in the Hopper house, along with her brother Atticus Finch, his wife Danae, and their twins Daphne and Emmett.

Atticus recently made Detective at the station, Danae has been leveling up her singing abilities for a promotion at work (Entertainer), and the kids focus on school and their clubs for the most part…

First up, in the Lovelace-Hopper household we have Vivian trying to deal with her poor excuse for a mother (Jessica in green) coming over to complain about her new husband Don Lothario, that will end well… while she and her wife Penny are learning how to be parents themselves.  They have two young sons now, child Joseph and toddler Nick.

So now that I’ve slowed down with playing World of Warcraft, I’ll be playing my sims more often, and trying out all of the new Parenthood content with my favorite families!

While I have played off and on, it’s been a while since I posted any story stuff, so I’ll catch you up with a few quick update posts for the extended families, and then we’ll focus on the “heir” (or as close to choosing a single heir as I’ll ever get!) for the rest of this generation.

Hahahahaha, random post-fight snapshot…  Guess who won?  Certainly not the dazed Mona Rae Jack (left).

Surprisingly it was the adorable illegitimate daughter of Don Lothario, April Kay (right).  She kicked Mona’s butt for having poor Conflict Resolution skills!

And Rita Voss in the center there seems to be debating whether she should congratulate April or size her up for a second round…
