Hahaha, yup, totally pregnant.  For a minute I wondered if she was just chunking up a bit, but with all the swimming that was unlikely.  After leaving the pool she immediately went for the grill, impatient that no one had started the food yet.

Colby, oblivious as ever, walked over and said “You know you really ought to cut down on the junk food, from this angle you look like a giant ‘S’.”

Rosetta glared at him, but dared not correct him.

Marietta hummed tunelessly at the bar, for once not scolding him for his well-intentioned but poorly executed comment.

These two don’t seem upset.  Maybe they don’t know yet?

[I know you love chasing that Escalante figure Colby ;D but why did you run all the way across two yards to kiss her?  I guess you didn’t want to make out in front of your parents’ graves.  That would disturb me too.

I am trying to find male voice actors for Super Llama Man. Episode 4 is probably going to be held up because it looks as if I have to recast two parts – both dudes. Male VA’s are so much harder to find than female ones. I would prefer not to have to rewrite the parts for girl characters but that looks what it’s going to come down to…as well as making the majority of my extras from here on out female.

This is seriously frustrating me to no end.

One voice actor I contacted said he would think about it (not holding my breath) after telling me that  Super Llama Man was, and I quote, “

a little crazy and bizarre.”

I don’t know if I should be offended.

Any guys out there willing to help @jorgha-haq? We need to save Super Llama Man!

Back at the Jack house…

Everything seems surprisingly normal?  Rosie is teaching Mona how to swim, they’re going to barbecue soon, and there seems to be no tension between anyone.

So what’s the problem Rosetta?  Why are you messing with Emerson’s head?

“It was so weird, she didn’t seem like herself at all.  And she hasn’t answered my calls since.”  Emerson gulped his ale.  “I don’t know what to do.”

Corbin: “I’m sorry man; did her dad say something to her?”

Emerson stared into his mug.  “I don’t know, she didn’t say anything more than that.  I have no idea why she’s avoiding me.  I thought things were going great.  Did we move too fast maybe?”

The bartender handed Corbin his drink, and he nodded in thanks.  “Well if you did, remember she was the one coming over all the time.  You avoid her place like the plague.”  He couldn’t help but smile.  “Sorry.”

“No, you’re right.  I asked her if that was the problem, but she just brushed it off.  Maybe I should go over there and try to sort things out.  Or maybe I should just give her some space.  UUGGHH I don’t know!”  He dropped his head into his hands.  “Girlfriends are hard.”

“Yes they are.”  Corbin took a drink.

After a few weeks of near-daily evenings with his sweetheart, Emerson came home after work one day to only his mother and father.  He had gotten so used to Rosie being over that he was worried about her absence.  Was she okay?

He dialed her number as his dad started to pluck out a tune.  The phone rang long enough that he was thinking about leaving a message, but she picked up just in time.  “Rosie, is everything alright?  Are you coming over tonight?”  He put a finger to his ear and walked over to the window to hear her better.

“Yeah, I’m… fine.  I just… don’t want to go out tonight, that’s all.”  She spoke softly, as if from far away.

“Oh, okay.  Well maybe I can come over tomorrow?  We have been hanging out at my house a lot.  We can do something over there if you want?”  He scratched behind his ear.

“No, no.  I think I’m just going to hang out with my sister this weekend.”

He frowned, but tried not to sound upset.  “Of course!  You have been over a bunch lately, so I’m sure she misses you…”

“I have to go now, bye Emerson…”

“Um, bye babe,

I love you.”

He almost didn’t hear her reply, “I love you too” before she hung up.

He stared at his phone in confusion.

SO I found some sneaky viruses on my computer this weekend, and they would not leave when I asked them to; thus my husband had to evict them forcefully by re-imaging my C-drive.  We saved everything important, dropped my last clean backup in, and I’ve been updating all sorts of things because it was from a year ago.  DOH.  So please forgive the lack of posts while I catch up with myself =/  [OH GOD I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD A YEAR OF BLIZZARD PATCHES]

But on the plus side, my TS2 files are still there, my favorite programs like winamp & photoshop don’t need to be reapplied, and my TS4 files are pristine.  New even.  I found sims I thought were gone forever, and I found the one.  goddamn.  picture.  that I ever took of Pepper before she became an elder.  YAY!  So before I drop my current saves back in, I’m going to see what I can save from the old ones and zip them up with the tray importer.

The above picture was one of the things I regretted as I evolved my game, deleting that shot because she was mid-bite and I thought I could get a better picture later.  Stupid.  NEVER DELETE PICTURES.  <smacks head>

So now that I can set them side by side, I see how much Rosie looks like her grandma.  She may have the Escalante figure, but the Jack face breeds strong!

I miss you Pepper, you were an adorable ginger guinea pig.  ❤

Emerson went to work the next morning with a bounce in his step.

And when he got home that evening, Rosie was there to greet him.

She stayed for dinner…

…And dessert…
